Our objective behind this initiative is to ensure that neurodivergent artists receive the well-deserved recognition and have the opportunity to showcase their talents. We aspire to help them find fulfillment and joy through their artistic abilities, fostering a sense of belonging within a supportive community that understands their challenges and appreciates their talents. Additionally, we aim to discover avenues for the artwork crafted by these remarkable individuals to grace the homes of patrons who wish to support the community and treasure the art created by these gifted artists.
The Neurodivergent Artist Community project currently focuses on the following aspects:
- Virtual Galleries: These galleries exhibit diverse types of artworks, encompassing paintings, sketches, photographs, ceramics, and more. Moreover, this virtual platform, integrated with social networking capabilities, aims to foster a community where artists can convene and interact.
- Art Workshops: Another facet of this community involves offering workshops designed to enhance the artists’ skills. These sessions cover both art history and various art techniques, empowering individuals to broaden their artistic prowess and explore new forms of artwork.
- Museum Tours to Increase Art Awareness: We arrange tours of local museums and a dedicated exhibit tailored for the neurodivergent community. These tours aim to expose artists to fresh perspectives, igniting inspiration for new artistic endeavors. Guides accompanying the group have experience in interacting with and addressing the needs of the neurodivergent audience, facilitating a more engaging and enriching experience.
- Art Exhibits: The final aspect of this community involves organizing art exhibitions. This event provides an opportunity for the parents, families, and friends of these artists to gather and celebrate the incredible talent within the neurodivergent community. Fundraisers during these events generate funds for supporting artists.
